The large Twin Slide Sheets reduces enormously the problems associated with moving people of all sizes, by enabling handlers to re-locate the person to a point where they can transferred onto a stretcher, moved after a fall or simply repositioned or moved in bed. Because the two sheets have such low resistance, they can be easily passed under even the largest patient, and in the most confined conditions, without the need for lifting. Both sheets are fitted with continuous handles permitting the person to be moved in any orientation, and extension handles are available to enable the rescuers to adopt a natural stance while completing the transfer. Finally, the sheets are colour-coded, to enable the sheet to be pulled to be instantly identified, thereby avoiding the danger of holding the wrong sheet.
